All Ends Well

This was a great Gintama Month and I know in the future, there will be another Gintama month. I hope everyone takes my advice and reads/watches it because it's worth it. Whenever I am upset or tired, one episode lifts me back up. Watch it, read it, absorb it, become it, live it. Gintama is that amazing it will make you laugh so much till your stomach hurts or it will make you cry until your eyes are dry and you can bet that this isn't the last time you see a Gintama Post. 
*I don't know who drew the character picture but it is amazing. I did not draw it someone else far awesomer than I did though.

Mitsuba arc

I just finished watching the Mitsuba arc the 3rd time and I am crying like there's no tomorrow.  I don't need to tell you a summary, watch it; watch it and laugh and cry and cry some more. This is the saddest episode of Gintama in my opinion. This episode enhanced all the minor characters in Gintama. Kondo become 50% cooler, Hijikata became a soft lover boy and Okita shows his sister complex side. I promise you the Mitsuba Arc will make you cry. I think its even more romantic than other shojo love stories.

Gintama High

Sorry I am totally high on Gintama right now I love it. (Let's name September Gintama Month.) I have awesome news about it too!!!! According to Anime News Network (click here for article), there will be a second movie coming out soon!!!! As for me, I hope the movie is about this:

Gintama Romance

In my opinion, I think if Gintama had a bit just a tiny weeny bit of romance, it would be the best manga/anime ever!!!!!! I am not saying Gintama should go shojo (ick that would make it horrible) but it should have romance like in the Mitsuba arc but just a bit more happy.


MY Gintama Pairings:




Okita and Kagura: A lot of the people who have watched Gintama know that this pairing is awesome and hilarious. They may fight a lot but they match up to each other well. I think the reason why they are rivals is because they can beat anyone to a pulp but each other. The arc in ep 186-187 with Kagura and Okita was sweet. I thought Sorachi-san was trying to show the fans that these two can get along. 

Gintoki and Tsukuyo: They seem to understand each other. Tsukuyo wants respect and Gin gives it to her. He also reminds her that she is a woman and even if she doesn't treat herself like one others will. Gin gets close to all the characters but I feel he connects with Tsukuyo. Both of them have masters that passed away and they both have something to protect. Gin and Tsukuyo fight along side with each other and both of them make great fake gang married parents XD. There must be something that makes gin always attracted to her breasts.

Otae and Kondo: He cares for her and she must care enough about him to stop his wedding. He will do anything to make her happy and she goes along with it. Kondo may be stupid at times but he is loyal and devoted to anyone. He is kind and never judges people. He has my blessings to get Otae. 






Hijikata and Mitsuba: Sorry for the Spoiler but yeah this is the only legit couple in Gintama. I wish there was an episode or chapter about Mitsuba adopting a girl after the Kondo clan left. She raise the girl by telling her that Hijikata was the dad. Mitsuba would only do this because she just wanted one link between her and Hijikata. One day that girl would come and find Hijikata and say "daddy!!!" OMG I would love to see Okitas face. But yeah that would be one sappy and funny episode.Oh Sorachi-san please listen to my request. But anyways they are a cute couple.





Hasegawa and Hatsu: I hope they get back together

Sakamoto and Mutsu: They rule the spaceship merchant business together. It belongs to Sakamoto but since he is so irresponsible, Mutsu covers for him. She looks up to him and she reminds me of a wife. She is always taking care of him, I hope he realizes how important she is to him.




Katsura and Ikumatsu: They met for a brief period, but at the end Iku looked like she liked him. 
EDIT: So it turns out Katsura loves Ikumatsu so what are her feelings.....?






Shinpachi and Otsu: Let his otaku dream come true, even if it is one date.




Gin and Hijikata: enough said. :D 

GINTAMAAAAAAAAA!

OK so the title of this Anime/Manga is Gintama. This is the awesomest, greatest, fantastical and Supercalifragilisticexpialladocious thing in this whole world. I love Gintama it makes you laugh your guts out or it will makes you cry until your eyes are swollen.


This is the story of a Samurai in the Edo period where aliens have taken over and no one is allowed to carry swords. I am going to be straight forward with you, you are going to forget this plot. Gintama doesn't revolve around a single plot, instead it focuses on appreciating the smalls thing and living like there's no tomorrow. There are small arcs in every season but main point: an episode will either make you laugh or cry.


CHARACTERS:


ODD JOBS:
Sakata Gintoki: Gintoki is the sarcastic, silver soul, samurai warrior, nose picking,  lazy, otaku, weather girl fan, main character. Lets not forget he's huge on lecturing. When I watch Gintama, Gintoki has a habit of lecturing the wrong. It sounds really good and great but there was one episode where he lectured for over 20 mins straight X(. But nevertheless he ROCKS. There is no better character than Gintoki. He's goodlooking, a hero, and unique There is no character like him. Gintoki's personality touches everyone, lets face it, HE IS TOO AWESOME. 

Shinpachi: He is the supporting main character. He is the bland, serious, otaku. He mainly serves as the person with common sense in the group. Even though Gin disappoints Shinpachi at times, he will still follow Gin to the end of the world. He knows that Gin can do everything if he sets his heart to it and respects Gin greatly. He is in love with pop singer Otsu. He is also considered the loveless nerd in the series. Nevertheless,  he is hilarious and Gin proves his purpose in one of the episodes.


Kagura: She is a alien from the Yato Clan. The Yato Clan is made up of a super human race that lives for fighting. Kagura is super strong but she doesn't want to use her strength for violence. She sees Gin as a father figure since her father is rarely with her because he is travelling the universe protecting planets. She also sees Shinpachi as a brother figure but some might argue. Kagura is headstrong which is why Katsura calls her Leader. She wants peace and but she is also tough. She is a complicated character but an awesome character.

Sadaharu: He is Kagura's pet dog. He is so huge that Kagura rides him like a horse. He loves biting peoples heads which is quite entertaining. He is very smart and funny but I don't want to reveal too much about him.




SHINSENGUMI: (Pretty sure I spelled it wrong but its 1am and I am too lazy for spellcheck)

Kondo: He is also recognized as Gorilla. He is the Shinsengumi Chief. He is a bit stupid at times but after the Mitsuba arc (waaaaahahahahah :'( Mitsubaaaaaaaa) He became a lot cooler. In fact after that, my respect for him only went higher. He is in love with Otae, Shinpachi's sister. Unfortunately its one sided. He is very dedicated to the Shinsengumi (Edo's police force) and all the other officers respect him. One of his main rules is that if he is ever taken by the enemy as a hostage, never hesitate to shoot or fire. 

Hijikata: He is the demon vice chief on the Shinsengumi. He is strict, rude, bossy and a fanatic about mayonnaise. He pours mayo on everything he eats. I want Gin to end up with Hijikata. I totally support this fan yaoi couple because they are perfect for each other. I love episodes about Hijikata and Gin they are hilarious. Even if he is the vice chief, he cares about everyone esp Kondo. He is the only character in Gintama who has a legit love story. He is very good looking but he doesn't care about partying or meeting up with girls, etc. He is also very funny. I love the episode where he and Gin are handcuffed together.

Okita: Okita is in third command of the Shinsengumi. His goal is to become vice chief by killing Hijitaka. He hates Hijikata because he took Kondo away from him and because of another reason. He is a super sadist and he always carries his bazooka with him. The only person cooler than Okita is Gin. He is smart, funny, sadistic and calm. He has to be one of my favorite characters. You can always rely on Okita to make you laugh in an episode especially if Kagura is that episode. He and Kagura are mortal enemies to the point where its funny. I hope Okita and Kagura can put aside their constant bickering and can become something more now that will be a funny household!!!


Yamazaki: I am guessing Yamazaki is 4th command because  he is 4th prominent but I may be wrong. Yamazaki is my favorite character, he is funny, cute (like a baby sort of way XD), and like Shinpachi. He is the Shinpachi of the Shinsengumi. I think he deserves more than 9th place. I love every episode with Yamazaki. ANPAN!!!!!!




Other Characters:


Zura ja na KATSURA da!!!!: Katsura is a old friend of Gin even though Gin will never admit it. Katsura and Gin fought in a war between aliens and samurai together. Even though samurais lost, Katsura didn't give up. He is trying to raise a revolution to bring back the land of the samurais. He is super Hilarious and one of my favorite character. 


Elizabeth (pronounced: Elizabethuh): Elizabeth is Katsura's Sidekick. She (or he) was given as a gift from Sakamoto another old  friend who fought in the war with Gin and Katsura. Elizabeth is super duper sidekick. Katsura can always rely on her/him. 


Hasegawa: In others a DORK (Madeo). Basically he is Gin's unemployed gambler friend. After he lost his job because of Odd Jobs, his wife left him and now he's in total misery. What he wants most is to get a stable job and have his wife back. Even though he gets a job, it never works well, (I wonder why?!?!? XD)




Sachan: She is a ninja that's in love in Gin ironically he can't stand her. She is a masochist.

Otae: Shinpachi's sister, shes hates Kondo and always calls him a gorilla even though he loves her. She is tough and nothing can stop her. She loves a specific brand of Ice cream and her dream is to protect her families dojo. She thinks that Gin is useless but is a good role model for Shinpachi. You never want to come her way when she is mad. Even though she hates Kondo she stills comes to his rescue when he's about to get married. 


Kyubei: Kyubei is Otae's Childhood friend. Kyubei laters wants to marry Otae. Kyubei is also a master swordsman. Sorry can't reveal much :X.

Tsukuyo: She lives in the red light district, as the head Guard. Tsukuyo will not appear until ep 139 and chapter 200 and something but she is a big character. Many fans wanted Otae and Gin to be together but they changed their minds after they met Tsukky. Tsukuyo is awesome and one of the most normal girl in the series. She can fight and she wants to be seen equal to a man.
