I am a hardcore Gintsu fan! I got uber excited when I saw her as a teacher in Ginpach Sensei. I was all fangirl mode:

Yeah it's pretty awesome of her to be a teacher. Majority of the Gintama Girls are students. Pretty Sure Sorachi-sensei got tired of that. They need newer Ginpachi Sensei episodes but after the next arc (the super badass third yoshiwara arc)

 I also noticed that Yoshiwara arcs are the most badass arcs in Gintama (matter of perspective and majority voting). Kamui is the current king of Yoshiwara...I wonder how that will play out?

As many of you can tell, I am a college student. In order to make up for the tremendous amounts of loans I have to take, I must study hard. Nevertheless I apologize for not continuing Gintama Month. In order to make up for it, I am posting my favorite quotes for the last day.

Gintama Month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it is Gintama Month. I bring good news: Gintama is continuing in October. Yes my dear Gintards, more new Gintama episodes- oh happy day! They are also making a second movie! I will try to post more but currently I am bombarded with assignments. oh Ginpachi-sensei help me please!

Usui's Father

Yeah... so I was wrong... at least we know who is Usui's father now right. hehe. .... I HAVE TO WAIT ONE DAMN MONTH FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER!?!?!?!?. (composed) Sorry I had to get it out there. Anyway thank you translators for this month's scan. I am now going to bury myself in textbooks for about 30 days. I will awaken after the next chapter.

My Top Anime Couples (Spoilers)

I have watched many animes and read many mangas not a bunch but many. Throughout this long anime/manga road I have collected several couples that I ship. Shipping is fun, it makes you explore your imagination and such. But it can get out of hand. I have read a lot of forums where people would go berserk shipping couples. (sometimes I sit with popcorn, pointless internet fighting amuses me) Anyway here are my top anime couples in no particular order. Also I got all the images off from google and tumblr. I will credit the amazing gifs. The pictures are from either the anime or the manga.

USUI AND MISAKI

Everyone knows I love them. The story line in Kaichou is so unique. After reading other mangas I realized that some of the stuff in Kaichou is cliche but it has its own unique approach in those cliche scenes. For example the porridge scene. Apparently a lot of shojo mangas use the porridge scene where the guy is sick and the girl makes porridge for him. Misaki on the other hand destroys the porridge and knows that she did a bad job. Usui honestly tells her its yucky but continues to eat it. Anyway both of them are adorable. I love how the author drew them in chapter 39 where Usui had broad shoulders and Misaki didn't look like a bobble head.

GINTOKI AND TSUKUYO

I love gintsu. A lot of Gintama fans are crazy for this couple! Is already evident that Tsukki likes him. We just don't how he feels (most likely he wants to marry Ketsuno Ana). Every time they are in a serious arc together (btw last arc they were in= amazing), Gin's past is always revealed. Most of them are about his master- someone very important to Gin. It always seems like Tsukki understands him. And in the last arc she got to know about Gin's past (apparently a lot of characters are learning about the Shiroyasha's identity O.o). Like many fans I feel like they click!

RIC AND NINO

Ric and Nino are from Arakawa Under the Bridge. I will do that review eventually. Basically, Nino saves Ric   from drowning and to repay her, Ric has to be her lover. After one or two episodes, Ric does fall in love with her because for the first time he has someone to love him ( and him to love back) unconditionally. As the story progresses we find that Ric truly cares for Nino and wants to know more about her. Nino shows that she loves him in return ( its really hard to understand Nino's motive because she is a grade schooler when it comes to love.) when she tells him of her fear of losing him. They bring out the best in each other. Nino opened an entire world for Ric and Ric continued to stay by her side providing her comfort and support.

SISTER AND MARIA

Sister and Maria are also from Arakawa. Sister is man btw. Anyway Sister is in love with Maria. They both fought against each other in a European war. I guess her dangerous attitude turns him on or something. Anyway Maria is a sadist. She cannot go a week without taunting a guy esp Sister. Almost every time she insults him, a scar on his faces opens up. Sister is the caretaker of a orphan named Stella. Due to their similar personalities Maria becomes her idol. Sister and Maria at some points seem like her guardians as they both care about her.

HIJIKATA AND MITSUBA

No one can make me hate this couple. Mitsuba never stopped loving him, just like he never stopped loving her. He made it seem like he hated her but in reality he truly cared for her. It's sad how things ended up. I wonder if Sorachi-san is going to leave Hijikata single in the end. Maybe Hijikata still hasn't forgotten about her. I mean no fan has ever forgotten about her. Even though she was only present for two episodes, she was always in the top 25 characters list every time.

VINCENT AND ADA

Vincent and Ada are a "couple" from Pandora Hearts. Vincent is dating Ada in order to get the Vessalius Key for the door to the Abyss. Ada has Jack's eyes. (Vincent loved Jack a lot because Jack thought Vincent's red eye was beautiful). Vincent wants to taint Ada because he thinks there is a disgusting person under those eyes. Vincent eventually finds out Ada's hobby and realizes that she is pure. Ada confess to Vincent that she wants to always be by his side. This surprises Vincent because he is not used to being loved unconditionally. (His own brother doesn't express his love for Vincent. Gilbert really cares about Vincent but at the same time Vincent kinda creeps him out). He eventually grows fond of her and by that I mean he always worries about her (just as she does for him).

RYUUKI AND SHUUREI

Even though I want Ryuuki to myself he really belongs with Shuurei. Ryuuki falls deeply in love with Shuurei after she confesses how much she cares for him. Shuurei, on the other hand, takes a damn good while before confessing her love for him (if she does not completely sure of the end). Ryuuki never had a mother's love until Shuurei came into his life. Shuurei eventually does fall for Ryuuki. Eventually Ryuuki becomes pre-engaged with Jyuusan-hime and both of them talk about their feelings for the one that they love. (Ryuuki talks about Shuurei and Jyuusan talks about Jin). They both feel comfortable with one another because they both share the feeling of being apart from their love. Shuurei (who completely ignores the fact that Ryuuki is in love with her) realizes that Ryuuki has finally found someone worthy of him and leaves depressed. This greatly emotionally affects her. (I had to watch the anime a second time to catch that)

SANGO AND MIROKU

Everyone gotta know this couple! I mean come on its from the infamous Inuyasha. Ever since I became a Inuyasha fan, I shipped this couple. I mean usually you would ship Kagome and Inuyasha but .... whatever Miroku and Sango! I remember laughing when Sango slapped him when he was about to give her mouth to mouth. lol Oh and when he proposed was so sweet. I love all the episodes with them (fangirling). Like 161, or 27 and I think 28. I also think 135 is an episode about them too (that's the drunk one I think) . (this is all from memory). Don't worry I will do a Inuyasha Review (not like it needs one).

ALICE AND OZ

Who doesn't love Alice and Oz. They are so cute together. Once you find out their history you know that they are meant to be together. Oz finds something attracting about Alice. She can make the thing he hates most into something beautiful.  Alice finds it hard to be separated from him. She wants him to be by her side forever. Oz is also very protective of Alice. He is willing to destroy the entire universe if its willing to make Alice happy. Alice and Oz are both like rabbits, when left alone, they will die of loneliness. They need each other.

TAKATOSHI AND SHINO

This pair is from Seitokai Yakuindomo. This is a panel manga with a bit of plot. Seitokai is really funny and perverted. Shino is very immature for her age. Takatoshi is her voice of reason kinda. In the manga, Shino slowly falls for Takatoshi. In the anime esp in the OVA, its seems as if Takatoshi is more attracted to her. Either way they make a great pairing. I love the beach episode.

Usui's Father

As many of you know, I am a huge Kaichou (wa maid sama- I call it Kaichou) fan. Lately the plot has progressed and it brought out several questions. One of the most important question is: Who is Usui's father? I feel that the father role is important in Kaichou because many of the characters grew up with no father (Misaki, Usui, Suzuna, Hinata) or they had a incompetent father (Gerald) or a misunderstanding-stern father (Aoi and Patricia [Usui's mom]). After Sakuya (Misaki and Suzuna's Father) returned, I felt that there is a chance that Usui's father might return. After Usui's transfer to Miyabigaoka he experiences the terns "family and "protect" a lot. Minako (Misa and Suzu's mom) treats him like a son offering to feed him on a regular basis. Suzuna explains her definition of the word family to him ( "a family should stick together") and calls him brother-in-law, and Sakuya not only considers him a equal but also introduces the idea of having someone to protect to Usui. Usui is technically alone in the world. I mean who else does he have other than Misaki? (He and Hinata are becoming buddies though) I feel like having his father return would give him the whole idea of a family. I also feel like if his father returns, Usui might find a loophole and become free. Usui's father can't take custody of him because Usui is 18 but anything else can happen. 

SUSPECT 1

When Maria came to substitute, some of the students talked about the old teacher, Maeda Sensei. If he was Usui's father then he may have thought about being a teacher in order to get close to Usui. Apparently he left for family reasons. Could it be that the Walkers knew that he was teaching there and got Maria to replace him before he got too close to Usui. They may have threatened him to leave his post. I mean it would be very difficult for a teacher to leave their post for a indefinite period of time. Maria is still working there, most likely to stop him from returning and notifying Misaki. I mean Maria's only duty to to get Usui to transfer. So why is she still there? (maybe cause she loves Misaki). Also pretty much everyone knows that Misaki is dating Usui. I can see the Walkers trying to stop him from communicating with his son's girlfriend. 

SUSPECT 2
Sakuya's friend Kazu is also a suspect. I honestly don't think that Kazu can be Usui's father but maybe...its possible...maybe. Usui is older than Misaki so it doesn't make sense for Kazu to be complimenting Sakuya's wife and kids when he has one himself. It might be possible that he didn't know of Patricia's pregnancy and then the family forced some dept onto him after several years. But that may be unlikely. ...

Usui's father may already be dead for all we know. Sakuya's entrance in the story is maybe to become Usui's father-like figure. Anyway I can't wait for the next chapter of Kaichou by Hiro Fujiwara. And if you haven't read Kaichou yet make sure to read the review >>>> and start reading!!!!

Pandora Hearts

Hey guys. I know I haven't been making any posts at all lately and I apologize. Freshman year of college is a roller coaster.  Anyway it's summer and I will try to make more posts. 


My next manga post is about Pandora Hearts. This is a REALLY good manga if you like a REALLY good plot. Basically, this is a story about a boy named Oz and his interaction with the all controlling surreal place called the Abyss. Early in the story, Oz has claimed to have sinned and was sent to the Abyss. Chains (stuff that live there but want to go to the real world) live in the Abyss. They want to go out and eat humans in order to become stronger. During his time in the Abyss, he befriends a girl-like chain named Alice. Alice is the strongest chain, the Black Rabbit (B-rabbit). She wants to go to the real world to find her memories. Chains cannot go to the real world without a contract with a Human (ergo calling that human a contractor). She persuades Oz into forming a contract with her and their journey begins. As Oz and his team slowly recover Alice's memories, they realize that her memories hold the secrets to the Tragedy of  Sabilier, ( A place that was engulfed by the Abyss a hundred years ago). While her memories are still spread out all over the country, Oz and the crew set out to find out what really happened a hundred years ago. 


This is a super awesome story. I was planning on making a post about it after it finished but I don't think it will finish soon. After reading the latest chapters, I realized I should have written about this story long before. (A lot of screwed up stuff happened)


WARNING: THIS STORY HAS A ABUNDANCE OF MIND FUCKERY. PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESOLVE BEFORE READING. 


You might think that ^ was exaggerated but trust me, Pandora Hearts is basically 80% mind fuckery. Trust me you will reread this manga about 2 times.....for every new chapter. This story also is creepy. There is a difference between scary and creepy. Scary will make you scream and  you won't be able to go to bed or the bathroom alone. Creepy will make you fidget. My cousin love scary stuff but she can't read or watch PH because she thinks some of the chains look creepy. 


Genres: Creepy, Supernatural, Romance. Adventure, Trilling, Comedy, Alice in Wonderland themeish
Don't be fooled by the word romance. The romance is on a whole new level of creepy


Characters:


Oz Vessalius: He is the main character of the series. He is optimistic, cheerful, and always put others over himself. He used to feel that if a conflict can be solved with his life, he is wiling to die, however, that changed after he met Elliot Nightray. Oz was sent to the Abyss for the terrible sin he committed. His father is Zai Vessalius and his sister is Ada Vessalius. His best friend is Gilbert. He has a special connect with Alice. Not just because he is her contractor but for some reason she brightens his day. She can make rain seem beautiful. Anyway I know too much about Oz, so much that I cannot disclose anymore information. 


Alice: She is the B-Rabbit, the most strongest chain in the abyss. She is Oz's chain. She wanted to leave to abyss to find her memories. After finding her memories it is revealed that she once lived on earth a hundred years ago. The will of the abyss is her twin sister. IT seems that she developed feelings for Oz by becoming angry or jealous when he leaves her. Sorry can't say much!


Will of the Abyss: Basically she controls the abyss. She's kinda creepy and twisted. She has a thing for Jack. She also dislikes Alice but also kinda likes hers...kinda. 


Gilbert: He is Oz's servant and best friend. He is completely devoted to Oz. He also has a younger brother, Vincent.  His chain is Raven, and it seals Alices B-Rabbit powers. He is scared of cats. Arggh I can't say much!! I should have written this post before the recent mind fuckery chapters.


Xerxes Break: He is freakin' awesome. He loves candy and considers Sharon as a younger sister. In fact, he is very protective of her. He wants to find out want happened a 100 yrs ago. His chain is the Mad Hatter. Don't be fooled by his childlike behavior because he is clever and strong. 


Sharon Rainsworth: Her chain is Eques, a Black Unicorn. She and Break have a close relationship. She wants to prove that she is not weak and can take of herself. 


Baskervilles: The "antagonists"













Ada Vessaalius: Oz's younger yet older sister. And she is sweet as pie. 


Child of Misfortune: Person with red eyes 


Vincent: Gilbert's younger brother. He has a red eye. He adores Gilbert. He will do anything, even erase his own existence if it makes Gilbert Happy. His chain is the Dormouse. Oh yeah he likes hacking up dolls. He also has a hatred for women and he thinks they are stupid and weak. Unfortunately for him one woman captured his heart and proved to him that not all woman have ulterior motives. 




Glen Baskerville:  Head of the Baskervilles. Grrrrrrrrrrr 




Jack Vessalius: ....(sigh)...this is indeed torture. He is Glen's best friend.












Elliot Nightray: Gilbert and Vincent's younger adopted brother- well actually its the other way around. He is a hero.. well at least to 
me. 




Leo: Elliot's best friend and servant. Their friendship is truly admired. 


Lacie:  Damn... (I refuse to show a picture)
